Chinese Stir Fry PressedTofu with Bell Pepper

Chinese Stir Pressed Fry Tofu with Bell Pepper

Veggie and tofu stirfry made tasty with a special, easy technique for giving the tofu more texture and flavor. Serve over rice or on its own – a healthy and delicious weeknight meal. In this receipt, I used pressed tofu.    It is the typical ingredient to use in Chinese stir fry tofu dish as it holds its shape so we don’t need to fry or pan fry it.   It is a much healthier version of the stir fry tofu dishes that are popular in the USA.   You can find it in many Asian supermarkets.   If you can not find pressed tofu,  I have the receipt for regular tofu here.

Pressed tofu comes in many different flavors.   All flavors are great for stir-fry.   It also makes very good snacks just as is.  The usual ones are :

  • 1 teaspoon gigner sliced.
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
