Red Bean Spring Roll

 

One spring roll pastry. Endless variations.   Make your own red bean spring roll easily with this recipe.    Smooth, light, crisp-crackly skin  filled with tasty red bean paste.   Lets start making some awesome goodness.

The red bean paste can be found inside these steamed buns can be found at Chinese, Korean, Japanese and some other Asian grocery stores. Usually, they are in cans and are made of just red adzuki beans and sugar.

Ingredients

1 cup sweet red bean paste
20 pc wonton wrappers
Cooking oil
Instructions

Direction:

Step 1:    Make the spring rolls. Place about 2 tablespoons of red bean paste  per spring roll wrapper. Roll and seal edges with the egg wash. Repeat the process until all filling is used.

            

 

Step 2:    In a deep pot, with about 4 cups peanut oil heated to 350 degrees F., deep-fry in batches of 4 until golden, about 2 to 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

    

 

Serve immediately.
