Fried Carrot Balls

A delicious evening snack made with carrot. A great way to get kids to eat carrot.

 

Ingredients:

Carrot  – 1 lb
1 egg
1/2 cup flour
1 bunch green onion – handful, finely chopped
Oil as required
Salt and pepper  as per taste

 

Directions:

Step 1:    Peel the carrots and grate well.  Mince green onion.  Add to a large bowl.

    

 

 

Step 2:     Add flour, egg, salt and mix well.  Just lightly coated with flour.   Make small balls of this mixture.

        

 

 

Step 3:    Heat oil in a frying pan.  Fry the prepared balls until light golden brown and crispy.   Remove and drain excess oil.
