Bok Choy Stir Fry with Garlic
For a quick-fix side, whip up some bok choy with garlic. This super simple, fast stir-fry gives bok choy a kick with tons of garlic.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
9 clove garlic, minced, or less to taste
5 heads baby bok choy, ends trimmed and leaves separated
1 tablespoon corn starch
1 teaspoon sesame oil, optional
Direction:
Step 1: Wash and separate white parts and leaves of bok choy. Mix half of the minced garlic, 1 tablespoon corn starch, 3 tablespoon of water together in a bowl.
Step 2: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Cook and stir garlic in hot oil until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir the white parts of bok choy into garlic mixture, stir fry for 1 minute. Then add the leaves, stir fry for another minute. Add salt. Pour in the garlic and corn starch mixture. Mix well. Add sesame oil if using. Mix well and serve hot.
